 Post subject: Burning .AVI files to a DVD

Heyy, people.
How can i burn a .avi file to a DVD, so i can watch it from a DVD player. I can't quite remember.

(Legit question nothing illegal about it)

I can't believe the words are coming out of me mouth, but...

There are plenty of programs out there that will allow you to convert and burn just about any file to DVD format, and then burn it onto a blank disc. I use this a lot because I'm a major anime geek, and the program I usually use is ConvertXtoDVD (wow, creative name, right?). It's available from the website for free as a trial version, which has all the features of the full version for a full month, and you can buy it from the website as well. That is, of course, if you want it legally.

I did, but my net went down pretty quickly.
Plus for some reason my PC arn't picking up the DVD's that are in the drvie

If you're posting here, you had enough time to find it on Google :roll:

As for the discs, are the type you're using supported by the burner you're using? DVD+R seems pretty universal, I have yet to come across a burner that doesn't support it.
