"No, no, no, you don't want to buy this, the... quality, isn't as good as you'd think," Misha said as she smiled and took the box out of Damian's hand, "I've got some better stuff than that, like you could see that was the exact same brand that the army uses, and I know for a fact that that merchant got it directly from the army... Unless you want to be able to be tracked down and be arrested in the coming 24 hours, I'd avoid that ammo."

"Quite right," Damian responded, "I didn't realize they could trace military ammo that way." Damian and Misha walk further in, and he sees a small homeless boy. Misha walks over to him and starts talking to him. Damian really can't make out what they're saying, and the little boy runs off. Misha grabs another box and says,

"So, It's about time to get your business sorted out Mr.Vahn. This brand should be just as good as the one you saw earlier. So, take a good look at it and tell me your opinion please."

Damian opens the box and inspects a round. "Very good," Damian says, "it looks just like the originals. Good weight, smooth casings. Let me try it out." Damian pulls out his weapon, releases the bolt, put in a round, and fires at a can nearby.

"Excellent. Here's the gold for it, and for the can I shot there." Damian hands her a handful of gold.

~Robert~

Robert observed the man's reaction as he approached, watching the man recoil in distaste and anger. He would have to watch his footing from here on out. But what was it that caused this reaction? It could have been him, Robert wasn't about to deny that he was a highly suspicious person. Or it could have been the glimpse of the exoskeleton... Whichever it was, he had to figure out. "Who I am is of no concern to you... I am but a man, who wishes to contract your services."

But his reaction to his words was far more favorable. He was at least curious if not interested. Robert pulled a few bills out of his bag, 500 a piece. "As for the job... I have a person that... I would rather not have to deal with any longer, if you catch my drift?" He held out the bills, offering them to this man. "If you so choose to learn no more, just take this and forget completely about our little conversation..."

~Strang~

Strang sat back down, resting his chin on his intertwined fingers, his eyes closed. His breathing became steady as he considered his options. Then the snake spoke. "Any fundsssss will come from Dein'ssssss pocket. The King doessss not ssssupport your goalssss, but he doesssss not presume to ssssspeak for General SSSSSStrang. The television appearance is no longer an option, the King demandsssss it. The donation will be up to our General." The snake fell silent as Dein's breathing began to grow more distressed.

"Fine. The King will get his wish. When shall I appear?"

~Jordan~

Jordan had to stifle a laugh at that one before remembering that he owned a giant robot himself. Tick would need maintenance soon. "Well, you never know. There could be multiple other shops on this very corner. And... I think the people here would know about a giant robot," he said, reaching into his pocket to grab his watch. It was a very fancy design, with large holes in the face of the clock so the user could see the gears turning and clicking. He had built it himself, and always wondered why people would want to hide such beauty. He realized that he was going to be late for the meeting if he didn't leave soon. "Uh-oh... While this has been a rousing conversation, I'm afraid I must depart if I wish to drop off my purchase at home before going in to work."

Misha watched as the man before her tried out his ammo, she found his method rather raw. Not the way a trained soldier would test it out. Which only more confirmed her hunch, Damian was most likely a fugitive, like most of her customers.

"Excellent. Here's the gold for it, and for the can I shot there." The man said while handing over some gold.

"Oh, this is more than enough sir, and don't worry about the can, it wasn't of any relevance." She replied with a smile while looking at the gold happily, this really was more than enough, the guy overpaid.
Though in fact, she didn't really know whether the can was valuable or not, it wasn't hers either way, so it didn't really matter.

"now sir, would you like to look around a bit more or leave? I can show you the exit if you want, this place is easy to get lost if you aren't familiar with it." Misha asked the man while dialling someone on her cell phone.

"Just give me a sec. whatever you choose, first I need to hail my employee to watch my goods again." She smiled at him while waiting for response on the other side of the line until a connection was finally made.
"Boi?.... yeah, it's me..... yup, time to get back kid." Shortly after she hung up Boi already turned around the corner running.

"I'm her Ma'am!" and the boy was already sitting at the same spot as before.

"Good" Misha smiled at him.
"Well then Mr.Vahn, how about we start moving again?" she said to Damian sweetly.

"Now sir, would you like to look around a bit more or leave? I can show you the exit if you want, this place is easy to get lost if you aren't familiar with it."

Before he could answer, Misha picked up a phone and said, "Just give me a sec. whatever you choose, first I need to hail my employee to watch my goods again," after a short silence she said, "Boi?.... yeah, it's me..... yup, time to get back kid."

The little kid came running saying, "I'm her Ma'am!" and stood back at his post.

"Well then Mr.Vahn, how about we start moving again?" said Misha with a nice tone to Damian.

"Sure thing." said Daman as he walked with her down the marketway. He finally passed through the doorway in the wall, and was about to walk back out into the alleyway he first met her in. Turned his head about halfway as he was out the door, his red eyes looking behind him at Misha and he said,

"Thanks for all the help. Any of that extra gold can be considered a tip for being so nice." Damian grinned and walked out into the alleyway.

As Damian turned the corner and looked where the mage was once he before, he was surprised to see that he was still there, but he was not alone. A lone man with a trench coat was standing in front of him. He stood his distance, since he could feel the tension in the air between the mage and this strange coated man.

"Aw crap," Damian thought to himself, "I need to get some information from that jerk, but I definitely don't want to get between those two right now." Damian layed low and watched on.

Okki took a moment to process Strang's question she looked as if she were doing math in her head. "I'd say in a few hours time" She said eventually. "We have a good relationship with on of the news stations and I'm sure that this will be something they'd jump at. I'll contact them as soon as this meeting is done, I'll pass along the details once i know them myself"

Okki eyed the snake creature, creepy little thing that it was "Does this please his madjesty?" She asked

Zhen reached out his arm, as though to grasp the bills the man had offered. But as soon as his fingers touched them, they suddenly flared up into a small burst of fire. Without a slight flicker in his expression of boredom, he retracted his hand. Orange eyes narrowed, he growled, "I don't know who you are, sir. But I take orders from no one."

His fists were now beginning to surround themselves in fire; as they did so, Zhen noticed that the faint orange glow from the man's undercoat grow stronger. What was he hiding under there?

-- Elsewhere --
Laris eyed the man's watch lustfully, she could see the gears through the watch face. She couldn't help but admire the craftsmanship, it certainly looked like a well made watch.

"Well, it was a pleasure speaking with you," She said with a broad, sincere smile. "You best watch out for giant robots on your way though, there maybe be some still lurking about. And exploding televisions! They seem to be on the rise, lately, too!" Lar added the last part loud and quickly, staring wide-eyed at the man. As though she expected him to turn and move away as fast as possible; a reaction Laris was not unfamiliar with.

~Robert~

"...I see you have no interest in anything I have to say at all," he said, waving the money to put out the fire. He acted as if he wasn't even surprised by this turn of events. Too bad... These bills were nearly worthless. He crumpled them up and tossed them to the ground, half of them falling to ash. He laughed under his breath as he reached into his coat, obviously gripping something. His exoskeleton was glowing rather brightly this time... He was truly a powerful magi. "Its a damn shame that you refused me... You really do have potential." A small hum began to resonate from his jacket, right around where his hand was. "But the question is, does it really matter that much? I am willing to just leave, and I'm hoping you are as well." He withdrew his hand, nothing within it. "Your move."

~Strang~

Strang was brooding silently as the snake spoke. "This will do. The King accepts your terms." Strang breathed heavily, coming to terms with his fate. "Thank you for your concern. I will... consider the donation. I did do quite a bit of damage to my reputation this day. Do you have anything else you wish to discuss?"

~Jordan~

"Hehe, it has been quite the rousing conversation, that is for sure. Thanks for your concern, but I don't think I need to fear giant robots too much. Or exploding TVs for that matter. But I'll be on the look out," he said, smiling broadly. What a strange girl she was. "Perhaps we shall meet again, and I hope the topic isn't quite as outlandish then. Farewell." As he walked away, something fell out of his pocket. His wallet landed on the ground right at her feet. He vanished into the crowd quickly, making his way back home.

"Damnit," Vince swore under his breath, "who could it have been?"

Still fuming, Vince had gone for a walk to cool his nerves. He had done some asking around and had come up with nothing. Of all the people that knew where the storage room was, none had betrayed him. He had talked to each one in turn, personally. And had found that none of them were lying. It was one of the more useful abilities that he had picked up over the years, he had a kind of sixth sense about when someone was lying to him. All of the men and women that worked for him were trustworthy, and loyal. But then who could it be?

He continued walking, lost in his own thoughts, when he happened upon two men talking. Or at least it seemed that way. One of them was apparently not too happy about whatever it was they were discussing. He stood just a hair shorter than Vince, with red hair, and an irritated look about him. But this wasn't the first thing Vince saw. What caught Vince's eye was the fact that his hands were surrounded in fire. He was about to butt in and see what the problem was, as he didn't feel like being a witness to this other man's cremation, until he noticed the other man's expression. It wasn't of fear, or even anger. It was more of a smirk, like he was daring the magi to try to Bar-B-Q him.

"This might be interesting," Vince thought to himself, as he sat against a wall quite a distance from the two men. It was one of Vince's more, cynical, character flaws. Whenever he was in a bad mood, watching a good fight seemed to cheer him up.

"That should do us for now General" Okki said pleasently. There was always more to talk about, so much more, but a fool like Strang would get in the way of her true mission. her purpose.

Strang was a typical male, fighting with the brain lodged firmly in pants and batting aside any real chances of success with his ignornace. Fool.

"Meet me at news station 6. They are quite popular in the public eye and I have a good relationship with many of their staff. They are a neutral station so your words won't be tarnished a set against you, I will make sure of that." Okki instructed as if Strang was just a child. This slight amount of power over him charged through her like static electricity. it felt good.

"You'll find it not to far from the halls of the senate. A lot of news gets leaked around the local resteraunts, makes sence to be as close as possible wouldn't you say? It's a few blocks north of your little accident this morning, it won't be to hard to find" She explained. She was going to offer her hand to be shaken but by the look in Strangs eyes he'd more likely pull her arm out of her socket. Instead she bowed her head in thanks. "Till later" she said and then made her escape.

***

Okki relayed then plans to her assistant Detta and retired to her home at the top of The Unamity building. It'd be a few hours until she would have to go to the station and be graced by Strangs presence once more, only this time it'd be on her terms.

Soon the whole city would be playing by her terms. but not yet... this was delicate. It could not be thrown around like Strang's car and forced down the publics throat. She took a moment to look over the city once more. She loved this city, and soon the people would love her.
